I served in the U.S. Air Force. That background can offer some shared context, but it does not tell me what your service was like or what you need now. We start with your account, including the parts that have nothing to do with the military.
A broad range of concerns
I work with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, sleep difficulties, trauma symptoms, mood concerns, grief, or difficult transitions. You do not need a combat history or a PTSD diagnosis to seek care here.
Private care outside the VA
This is an independent practice, not a VA service or a benefits evaluation service. I do not provide VA claims work or make disability determinations.

If you already receive VA or other care, tell me so we can discuss coordination and avoid conflicting medication plans. Records are exchanged through appropriate channels and authorization, not automatic access to VA systems.
What the first step looks like
We meet by video or phone for a free 15-minute consultation. If we proceed, the initial evaluation is a separate 60-minute video appointment. You must be physically in Washington for appointments.

Can I see you if I also receive VA care?
Yes. This is an independent practice. Tell me about your current care so we can coordinate with your permission and avoid conflicting medication plans. Records are shared through authorization, not automatic access to VA systems.
Do I need a diagnosis before contacting you?
No. We can begin with what you have noticed and what you want help with. The free consultation checks fit; a paid psychiatric evaluation is where assessment and treatment planning take place.
