Your first step
Start with a conversation.
Meet with me by video or phone for 15 minutes. You do not need to know your diagnosis or have a polished explanation of what’s wrong.
Your free consultation
15 minutes · Video or phone · $0 · No payment card required
We discuss what you’re looking for, whether this practice fits, and your questions about care. The consultation does not include diagnosis, treatment, or prescribing.

- Choose the Free Consultation (15 min, video or phone) from the service list. Paid appointments are also listed.
- Choose Video Office or Phone appointment, then select a time and complete the requested details.
- Check your appointment confirmation. For video, use your unique SimplePractice link. For phone, I will call the number you provide at the appointment time; no video link is needed.
Continues to SimplePractice, our scheduling and patient portal. If you cannot find the consultation or a suitable time, contact me. I respond within 24 hours, including weekends.
A quick check before booking
- You are 18 or older and will be physically in Washington for the visit.
- You are looking for scheduled outpatient psychiatric evaluation or medication management.
- You understand that ongoing care is cash-pay: $250 for the evaluation and $150 for a standard follow-up. See all fees.
I do not provide therapy-only care, disability or custody evaluations, or VA claims work. If you are unsure about fit, the consultation is a good place to ask.
If you are transferring a controlled prescription
Controlled medications are within my scope when clinically indicated. I do not start them at a first visit or prescribe them on request. Continuing an existing prescription requires a fresh diagnostic review, a Prescription Monitoring Program review, a treatment agreement, and regular follow-up. The consultation cannot guarantee that a prescription will be continued.
Already a patient?
Phone follow-ups can be arranged when we agree they are clinically appropriate and legally permitted. Contact me through the patient portal before choosing this format. We will agree on the visit type and fee in advance; a video visit, or an in-person assessment with another provider, may be needed when a phone visit cannot provide an adequate assessment.
Use the patient portal for your established care, appointments, and secure messages.
